I don't like to put in a whole nug because it won't burn correctly. It needs to be broken up... Don't mind getting a little ash in your mouth it's just part of getting high! Breaking up the weed is kind of a sacred part of smoking, like, the preparation for the ritual...I hate it when people just throw in a whole nug and fail to make sure that it will smoke correctly and evenly...
Just don't pack it w/seeds otherwise they'll burn your face.
It last longer so you don't have to re-load as often but it's usually harder to "hit" and keeping the fire to it makes it hotter to hold on to.
