Answer:
if you're on medication, it may be time to visit your psychiatrist (medical management) and give him/her an update on your situation. tell him about your morning anxiety. your medication might some adjustments or it could be enhancing a side effect that is making you more anxious in the morning. this could also be a phase and will most probably cycle away but to be sure, i would meet with the psychiatrist for medical adjustments.
good luck and i hope your mornings get better. best wishes.
Well I dont know, Im always feeling funny in the mornings, so my resolution is to come out to your window and sing 'GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE' lol...
I find it goes away as I "come to/wake up fully" but I feel grim when I wake up. A cup of tea helps but not too much caffeine.
Of course other people have it. Don't worry you're in the majority.
Drugs only suppress the symptoms. After a while they don't work. Anxiety arises because there are unresolved issues in your life. Morning panic attacks arise because your brain has been trying to resolve things in your sleep and failed. You need to face up to your demons and resolve them. Counselling may help.
I have never been a morning person. I remember one morning i got up and felt awake and happy, and it was a real shock, as i had never had this feeling before. I remember thinking that this must be what its like for other people getting up in the morning. I always feel much happier in the evenings. Iv never been able to work out my aversion to mornings. x
I always feel sick and unwell first thing in the morning, but a cup of tea and a 20 minute sit down really help.. My mum used to say that she woke in the morning with really hateful thoughts and anger when she was going through her menopause.
I do sometimes. I'm having one this morning as I type. I feel like I'm still in a dream state, I'm just trying to keep occupied, do positive things, I'm a christian so I'm reading my bible and praying that God will bring me peace. Perhaps a visit to the docs would do as both good.Maybe the meds no longer enough. Don't worry about the feelings though. They can't hurt us. They are just feelings. Good luck love. Try singing happy songs and pray if you feel able. My God bless you and I hope you feel better soon and phone your GP asap. xx xx
