Do babies go into comas?

Do Babies go into comas? If so, then when they wake up, have they developed normally?

Answer:
it would be the same for an adult in a coma , their bodies would function as normal, they would be placed on life support machines for feeding etc and they would grow at a normal rate physically but not mentally as they would not have been taught or learnt any life skills that babies learn.
what a cheerful question.I have no idea
depends how hard you drop them?
It is possible for them to go to comas, when they wake up, I don't think their functionality changes because it will just make them rested.
Yes they can go into comas. It is unlikely that they wake up without intense medical help.

Some brain damage may have occured, depending on the age and health of the baby prior to the coma and the cause of the coma.

It's possilbe to get lucky though, especially with all the new research and medical equipment.
Yes and there may be residual abnormality depending on the condition that caused the coma.
