Yesterday was a hot day (100 degrees F) and I spent about an hour in the sun at mid day then a little later I went for a run and that was about another hour. I didnt get sunburned (a little tanned and some pink in one area but nothing major) and I was drinking water so I dont think I was dehydrated.
Could the time in the sun have made me sick that night? any ideas as to what happend? Thanks
Answer:
yes, the sun is probably the reason. If you over heat you get those symptoms. drink LOTs of water, stay in a cool enviroment and take it easy for a while.
yes, i have heard of that happening, like sun poisioning or something. but i dont think you were in it long enough but it is possible. you might have been dehydrated. i get sick in heat sometimes but i am always dehydrated.
yes. it was probably the sun. some people just get sick like that.
sounds like heat/sunstroke to me.u need to drink lots and lots of water.u said that u were drinking water..but how much were you drinking? when u r out in the sun u lose your body's natural liquids...so to speak...and you were running and that will make it ten times more...water water water...and more water..
You could've still been dehydrated. You should drink water, before, during, and after being out on a hot day.
It could be sun sicknesss.
It also could be a diesease.
Please see a doctor.
