Yeah, it was in the newspaper. Sometimes little kids like to sit on the suction thingy in pools, but if the suction is strong enough it can actually pull part of the intestine out through the butt, so you should never do that. Pretty gross.

Yes that was sad but very true.Those suction drains are dangerous,and should be inspected and covered at all times. People have drowned,lost extremities and been scalped getting stuck in them.Emergency stop buttons should be clearly marked and easy to find. We have all stuck our toes in jaucuzzi intakes,it can happen to anyone.
as a nurse many sad things happen and i think you should not focus so much on if it did or did not happen. at a pool if it did something was very wrong with their equipment. this is very rare. fact or fiction!! i could tell you things that would make you not sleep at night. unforeseen circumstances can happen at any time to anyone. don't worry yourself please? its not healthy to focus on all that. take care my friend !
