If not, what other things have you done to rid of migraines ??
of course we all take tylenol and prescription medication for them but what is out there that works or has worked in the past for you that is not a drug.
Thanks a lot !
Answer:
Honestly the best thing for a migraine is water. Lots of times headaches are caused by dehydration. First thing when you wake up in the morning (before you pee or anything) go drink a big glass of water- this works for me and it has worked for other people I know. If there is not enough hydration in your body a headache -which for some people turns into a migraine can be caused from it. I used to have migraines like 2x a week or so and I RARELY have one now. I think I may have had 2 over the past couple of years. When I get a dull headache I may take a GOODY powder but just plain ol' water will do the trick 99% of the time.
Feverfew - an herbal supplement - has helped some with their migraines and it is available at any large pharmacy / department store.
First off have your blood pressure checked. High blood pressure can cause very painful headaches.
Go see a chiropractor. Migraines can be caused by neck problems. Search for one who utilizes cold laser light therapy. Search for chiropractors who are from Palmer College, they are the best. I guarantee they will help you.
