Both the other people were correct. Epsom salt can be used as a laxative, when you mix it in water and drink it, or as a soak for sore achy muscles. It can help with swelling too. It can be found at any drug store and is not very expensive. I get it in a pint size, milk carton type container, and if I remember correctly it's like $5. Now dead sea salts are usually used as a soak, they add minerals to your bath water, and like the person before me said make your skin smoother. It can also help dry out your skin a little bit on your face if you have oily skin or skin that is prone to break outs.
