But it should be covered until the paperwork you send in for him updates with his SSN in a month or so. When this happens, they should be able to fix the problem...as much of a pain it is! Make sure when you call and talk to the people, you write down names and times that you called with detailed notes so you can refer to them as needed. If you still have problems, tell them you will contact the insurance commissioner in your state as well as the state in which they are located...this usually lights a fire under their butts!
