I know that a lot of drugs like ecstasy make you dehydrated but I've never heard of cannabis doing the same. So why do you get cotton mouth? Every time I smoke skunk I, and everyone else I know too, get a really dry mouth that can't be cured no matter how much I drink. Also I tend to need the toilet a lot more when I smoke but that might just be my mind thinking I need to go. I have definitely noticed that my skin gets dryer when I smoke more.
Anyway, does anyone know whether smoking cannabis does actually make you dehydrated?
