what hospital
gran is in JR in oxford uk

Answer:
I was a nurse for 11 years and I think that the majority of staff try to do the best they can under very difficult circumstances. Its very frustrating when you dont have the equipment or resources to do the job that you love. However, I do think that the government could help by offering more funds and more support for the medical and nursing staff that work so hard to keep the system working.
UNDERFUNDED! There's a good word for you!
i feel nhs does a good job alot of me family go uch or winton hospital and they were reali helpful and caring
Friend recently had to go to Arrowe Park hospital, Wirral. Told me that the nurse was not clean had dradful body odour, looked a mess and stunk of fags - so I would say the worst thing about the NHS is lack of cleanliness.
My mum went into Newcastle freeman hospital after a mild heart attack and within 2 weeks she had been given a triple bypass and is now doing very well !, the nurses were fantastic and the care she got was first class.

I arrived to see her last Saturday and was struggling to walk with my RA - it had been a long day, and a really kind male nurse got me a wheelchair and pushed me from one exit to the building she was in, and through the pouring rain too and right to mums bed, he was great !.

Also i have been in hospital myself 5 times and was treated very well, lots of care and compassion, was given walking sticks and aids to help me and hydro pool therapy and more, can't fault them !!.
my grandad went in to hosptail for a x ray on his hip they find out that went he lost his leg 50 years ago they pinned it wrong so hes had a dislocaed hip for 50 years and thats his good leg he lost his other so i say crap
I can only say good words from my own experience with the NHS.
maybe the way they treat staff, my dad for example was a paramedic, they payed him a crappy wage, worked long shifts at every given hour, and shyted around over his pension, he couldn't carry on doing that job

my mum had a prolapsed disk in her back and had to have an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scan, and the bloke that mopped the floors also served the foods, some hospitals are better than others, mayday hospital is shyte from what i have seen, one case an older lady undergoing an operation who was 'nil by mouth' asked for some water she had poor sight and they can't give them water but the nurse having an impish sense of humor gave her an empty cup i mean how cruel is that, what do this people think
I've had three children (all ceasareans) - I have never had a bad experience. I think they do what they can with what funds they have.

Hope your gran recovers soon - all the best!
