Cover it with a water proof band-aid to minimize the exposure to the chlorine..after swimming, take off the band-aid and let it dry out.you'll be fine.works for me!

As long as the clorine in the pool is adjusted properly, it should not sting your cut, but I wouldn't get in the pool with an opened and bleeding wound.
