Does applying tea to the skin help a sunburn? How?

Answer:
GREETINGS< yes tea helps some, it contains tannic acid which absorbs into the skin to reduce inflammation. I had a bad sunburn Memorial Day weekend and used a product called ICE, it has aloe, tea tree oil, and lidocaine in it, not greasy and numbed things nicely. Make sure you moisturize the burn area really well and if you go in the sun be sure to use sunscreen, that layer of skin is burned and damaged right now so the sun will penetrate deeper, you're at higher risk of skin cancer.
i;m not sure about tea, but vinegar will.
yes, tea will work b/c it pulls toxins and other crap out of your skin that cause it to hurt, however, solarcaine is the best thing that ive ever seen for sunburns
