A Freshmen in College
Answer:
Don't worry, you can become a nurse, but you might want to stay away from certain specialties such as emergency room nurse.
Think about when you're most likely to stutter a lot... probably when you're nervous. In those situations, take a deep breath (or two, or three) and realize that most people won't judge you at all over it... kids in school will bully other kids over things like stuttering and a million other things, but almost all adults are a lot more understanding.
Good luck. :)

You need to learn to apply what you learn in speech therapy in everyday situations. If you do this, you can do any vocation you choose. Get either a referral to a speech therapist who specializes in stuttering from The Stuttering Foundation or their book "Self Therapy for the Stutterer" and work diligently through the steps. Several of my uncles and cousins overcame their stuttering and you can, too.
