Do you or anyone you know take Zoloft?

To you have any side effects? My doctor gave me Zoloft but I am worried about side effects

Answer:
I have taken Zoloft in the past and the only side effect I encountered was some drowsiness when I first started taking it. It worked well for me. I have known several people who have also taken Zoloft and are still taking Zoloft with no side effects and this medication works well for them also. I guess it all depends upon the person. If you feel more comfortable with your physician prescribing something else, then you should talk with him/her about it. There are other medications to choose from, but all medications do have potential side effects.

I know you probably have read the side effects, but please click on these links for an entire list of possible side effects.

Best wishes to you.
Zoloft has a website that includes the prescribing information. Everything will be listed in that.
I'm not taking Zoloft but I started taking Prozac today.

I'm supposed to take it when I eat breakfast, and this morning while I was getting my breakfast ready, I got really nervous and I thought I was going to throw up. I was so worried about taking the medication. I finally took it though, and there are no side effects yet. It's been a whole day. I haven't felt queasy, and I haven't had any headaches.

Just take it. You won't feel better if you just stare at it.
I take it and the side effects are very few. You can go to webmd.com and find out about it
I have been taking zoloft for many years now and the side effects, for me anyway, have been minimal. The largest noticeable thing was a reduction in sex drive at first, but, in time, all was back to normal, sexually. I cannot speak for everyone, but it has helped me a considerable amount. Try it out and see what happens.

LLok around on this site there are tons of people that take zoloft you can answers from them also.
I took it for about 10 months it helped me calm down (I was having anxiety and it kept me awake at night) So that helped.
I did yawn a lot - I noticed and a little tired in the day -
but I can be tired daily if I want to be - if your issues out weigh the side effects don't worry - they seem to be minimal -
I'm on Zoloft and I have no problems. However, antidepressants affect people differently. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about side-effects, but give it a chance to work before you get too worried.
