Do you know what suicide looks like before it happens(the warning signs)?

Answer:
The signs of Sucide. Pulled from th web. Very broad. The main point is simple. If someone is talking about death and is very depressed that is a big red flag.

Talking About Dying -- any mention of dying, disappearing, jumping, shooting oneself, or other types of self harm.
Recent Loss -- through death, divorce, separation, broken relationship, loss of job, money, status, self-confidence, self-esteem, loss of religious faith, loss of interest in friends, sex, hobbies, activities previously enjoyed

Change in Personality -- sad, withdrawn, irritable, anxious, tired, indecisive, apathetic

Change in Behavior -- can't concentrate on school, work, routine tasks

Change in Sleep Patterns -- insomnia, often with early waking or oversleeping, nightmares

Change in Eating Habits -- loss of appetite and weight, or overeating

Diminished Sexual Interest -- impotence, menstrual abnormalities (often missed periods)

Fear of losing control -- going crazy, harming self or others

Low self esteem -- feeling worthless, shame, overwhelming guilt, self-hatred, "everyone would be better off without me"

No hope for the future -- believing things will never get better; that nothing will ever change

Other things to watch for- Suicidal impulses, statements, plans; giving away favorite things; previous suicide attempts, substance abuse, making out wills, arranging for the care of pets, extravagant spending, agitation, hyperactivity, restlessness or lethargy.
Some warning signs are depression, loneliness, and negativity...but those signs don't have to mean that someone is thinking of suicide...
often warning signs are withdrawal from people and things they used to love, and they will often tell somebody when they are going to do it. it isn't a sudden thing that happens overnight, they obviously were/are depressed, and they will/did think that killing themselves would be the easiest way out. they will slow or stop eating sometimes too.
Sometimes there are no obvious warning signs. However, some common signs are:

Hopelessness
Rage, uncontrolled anger, seeking revenge
Acting reckless or engaging in risky activities, seemingly without thinking
Feeling trapped - like there's no way out
Increased alcohol or drug use
Withdrawing from friends, family and society
Anxiety, agitation, unable to sleep or sleeping all the time
Dramatic mood changes
No reason for living; no sense of purpose in life

I took this list from the American Association of Suicidology website. A few others not mentioned here are if a person begins giving away their favorite or most valuable possessions to others, or if a person suddenly seems happier or more relaxed after a long period of depression. This can mean they just got over it, or it can mean that they don't care about their problems anymore because they expect to be dead soon.

This may seem obvious, but people who plan to commit suicide often say they're going to commit suicide. It's important not to dismiss these claims as simple attention-seeking. Previous suicide attempts are also a major warning sign. Many people who eventually commit suicide make several unsuccessful or half-hearted suicide threats and attempts first.
