Sperms duration span?

just wondering how long sperm can servive outside the manly body i heard 3 days?! and ive also hear minutes so im confused!help!!

Answers:    Sperm has to be slightly below body warmth..that's why testicles are on the outside and away from the body;not too low though. They can stay alive for about 3 days beneath optimum conditions.
