Answer:
my boyfriend is circumcised and it makes it 10 times (my boyfriend and i both agree) better I'd say it increases sensitivity whats more circumcision reduces disease, improves hygiene, enhances sex.why would any guy not want to be circumcised?
You might. Google some studies about it, there are a lot of sensitivity studies that show that when uncircumcised men have sex it feels better for the woman (and possibly the man), so generally I would say yes, but if you have a problem with tearing anyway then it might make it better for you.
yes it will make it less sensitive. don't get its done. be proud of being natural and check out the net to find info about the correct way to treat it and not circumcision.
To people who say you should get it done, ask them if they would get their foot shopped off just because they got and ingrown toe nail.
Circumcision is very good for health of both partners and it gives more pleasure in sex for both.It can be done at any age with the help of a surgeon.
Be happy and wish you all success..
do a dorsel cut, (they cut it down the middle on top) you get to keep your foreskin, talk it over with your doctor, i'm glad i had the surgery & got to keep the foreskin, don't let them cut that off!!
a.kolathil Not criticising you But there have been no scientific proof that a circumcised penis is healthier for a partner or yourself. If you keep it clean there is not a problem.
I had an adult circumcision due to torn frenium, worst mistake of my life, I have lost some sensitivity. But like the previous answer try a dorsal cut.
some people cut the frenulum their selves allowing the foreskin to roll back further
see if your local doctor can do this for you, there isn't much there to be a problem as long as you keep it very clean during healing

I would advise seeing a different doctor before getting a circumcision.
Circumcision does reduce sensitivity.
"The glans of the circumcised penis is less sensitive to fine touch than the glans of the uncircumcised penis. The transitional region from the external to the internal prepuce is the most sensitive region of the uncircumcised penis and more sensitive than the most sensitive region of the circumcised penis. Circumcision ablates the most sensitive parts of the penis." Circumcision cuts off the five most sensitive points from the penis [Touch test sensitivity experiment, British Journal of Urology 2007, copy of report: http://www.nocirc.org/touch-test/bju_668... ].
The foreskin also contributes to the female.
The foreskin reduces the force required by the penis to enter the vagina while circumcision contributes to vaginal dryness. [ http://www.circumcision.org/studies.htm... , http://www.cirp.org/library/sex_function... ]
The unnatural dryness may make coitus painful and result in abrasions. The vaginal dryness may be mistakenly attributed to female arousal disorder.
The foreskin also increases the sexual enjoyment of the female partner. [ http://www.cirp.org/library/anatomy/ohar... ]
If you have to get it done, you have to get it done. But I would advise consulting a different doctor and considering alternative treatment first.
I was at 18 and sex rocks when your cut! I don't care what anti-circ sites say, they just outright lie! Get cut and have the best orgasms of your life! I had my two boys (1&3) at birth with no doubts that is better and healthier!
I was circumcised as an adult and it made a HUGE difference for the better. Before when i was uncircumcised sex consisted of me sliding in and out of my own forskin while now the head of my penis can slide in and out of my partners vagina which is more sensitve than sliding in and out of your own forskin. Hygene is another plus I no longer have to worry about the foul smell when i pulled back my forskin, nor do i have to worry about dribble of urine that used to make my under wear moist. Don't let people try to convince you with misleading information.
Trust me you won't reget it.
The frenulum basically keeps the foreskin "tethered" to the glans (penis head) and is often a source of sensitivity and pleasure (link 1). But you'll need to be careful and not be too rough during sex, as the frenulum can tear and cause pain. Some guys have a short frenulum, but this is usually fairly easy to treat (bottom of link 2).
