For me, I like anything that stands out!!
The brighter the better. It shows boldness and character.
The light colors just blend in. Don't get me wrong, they still look nice. Depending on the outfit and occasion, may look better. But bright colors make a statement.
A lot of things should be taken into consideration when chooosing a color. hair color, skin tone, eye color, etc... so I guess and bright color wouldn't work, it has to fit the individual.
I'd have to say, a bright blue (not neon) would look good on just about anyone!!

I like red nail polish the most. It's the most feminine color for a girl or woman's nails. Pink is too girly, and blue or dark is too gothic or alternative. Clear is just like a pedicure with shiny nails.
Black, Red, purple (if the right shade), and a mixture of black red and white them (besides purple) are my favorite colors and purple is the color of affection.
If a certain color of nail polish turns off a guy, then it probably wasn't you that got him turned on. Other than the all back goth look with black clothes, nail polish is all the same to me. I would imagine that most strait me could care less. Being clean and taking care of yourself is good, but most men probably won't be interested in your fingernails beyond that.
i am a female but just warnig u about red nail polish.It turns ur nails yellow proven in a higine magaine and it has happened to my friend.If u put it on put 2 coats of nail hardner/clear nail polish to protect ur nails unless u want yellow nails.but using clear ail polish work i do that.
