It depends on whether you want a grown man or an overgrown boy. Some men like it clean shaven because they are afraid of women and a shaved thingamajig makes you look more like a little girl, and therefore easier to control and less threatening or demanding.
But mature men prefer a nice, full, bush. If yours happens to be scraggly or really bushy, it may look better trimmed out a little. But if you shave it completely, you are appealing to the overgrown boys.
Hair grows there on women. It looks good. If you want to appeal to men with mature taste and appreciation, keep it hairy.
