Did I ovulate? Are my chances of getting pregnant higher than normal?

I had heard that your discharge get really thick when your ovulating, well I'm on birth control and today had really thick clear discharge. I had sex two days ago, Am I at risk?
I know I dont have an infection or anything, It was clear and I'm not irritated or itchy. It was my normal secretions only extremly thick.
My man didnt ejaculate inside me but I know there's still a risk.
