I would never recommend this to anyone.
I was on it for four years and am so glad I am OFF of it.
get off the depo! i used it for a year and it really messed me up. while everyone is different, i never stopped bleeding, i had terrible mood swings and i ended up gaining 20 pounds. it was really bad. all i did was cry and feel miserable about myself. i got off of it and started to feel better within that month. my period did take a while to get back to normal though. trust me: you are MUCH better off with a different form of BC. doctors like to push the shot, especially for young girls, since it is easy to use and takes little maintenance. but the side effects are not worth it!
