Answer:
I have experienced this before for a couple days, weeks in advance of when my period was due. I was pretty confused at the time.
I honestly don't know why this happened, but it went away in a few days.
If this persists, you should see your doctor.
Your body might be wanting to go into your cycle, but its not due yet so all the signs are there and nothing is happening. I wouldnt even think pregnancy because that is usually not a sign. You could also be constipated. Or on a more severe note something else could be going on, if it continues for a few more day i would make an appointment with your obgyn. Something else could be going on that needs medical attention. You could also of strained something did you lift anything heavy? Try a nice hot bath, relax and take a motrin see if that helps. Good Luck
It could be your cycle is going to come early, which can happen cycles can change with hormone fluctuations, stress, etc. Sometimes I get cramps like a period when I'm ovulating usually when the right side is ovulating not the left. I can always tell, my doctor said it's normal for some people to do that. It could be your ovulating. Or it could be you have a cyst on your ovary as sometimes that is a symptom.
Is it on one side and radiating towards your belly button?because eptopic pregnancy might be a possible cause. If it gets progressively worse be sure and get checked promptly, better safe than sorry!
If it is really bad you might want to see a doctor as it might not be your uterous cramping and might be something else. If the cramping is worse than your normal period I would go and get checked just to be sure.
I experience that alot of days in one month...mainly because my period is so irregular. I cramp for like 17 out of the 30 to 31 day months.
