Oh yeah I use to have too call in sick! I got on the pill because it helped with the flow heaviness and that helped a lot! Also try a hot bath, heating pads, ibuprofen(advil) and midol together, or exercise(ever though dying seem much easier)!
I feel for you! Good Luck!
And if you've tried all these and it's still bad call your OB they make prescription pain killers for cramps!
No. Luckily. So far I've only had 5 cramps, but nothing to severe.
nope. not me, but i came close.
yeah but try naproxen. it works
Yes, and it is horrible, but try midol.
i was that way a few times when i was younger. ask your doctor for an Rx of 800mg ibprofen (sp?). it will help alot. Also, not sure how old you are, but going on the pill can help as well. If you can't go on it, i recommend taking advil regulary a few days before your period and try a vibrating heating pad - it helps me numb the area (from the vibration). good luck.
Dear K.
You should seek medical help because it could be that you have cysts on your ovaries. (Hopefully not!) But the Doc can prescribe you prescription strength meds for your monthly. Ask for Sulindac. It performs miracles! Hope you get that.
ya then i went to a gyno and they told me that i might have endometriosis... go to ur gyno...they gave me a birth control and all is good now
When you know that your menstrual cycle is beginning soon, take vitamin D. I am one that started with my menstrual when I was 8 years old, and boy did I sure have extreme painful cramps. My doctor recommend me to take vitamin D. And thanks to GOD I have never had a problem with cramps. I do feel weak and extremely tired, but no more cramps.
no,go c the DR.
