Constant spotting with Seasonale (generic version)?

I started taking Jolessa (the generic equivalent of Seasonale) on 4/27. From 4/28 through today, I have been spotting. For about the first week, i spotted for a couple of hours a day, then the spotting was 24/7. Even though the instructions say to contact the doctor after 7 days of spotting, I've heard that spotting for more than 7 days is perfectly normal. But it has been almost 4 weeks of constant spotting for me. Should I start to worry, or should I just wait it out. Does anyone know the average number of days a woman will spot before her body becomes used to the hormones?

Answer:
I started seasonale and had consistant spotting. It last the entire first pack (90days) I continued to question my doctor who assured me that with some women this was normal.

When I took the inactive pills and started the next pack, I never spotted again. I was on them for about 2yrs.

If you can be patient with them, its great! The first round can be aweful though. Good Luck. Hope this helped!
It's probably nothing to really worry about; I mean, I wouldn't go to the ER or anything but you might want to call your doctor just to check. There are probably some stats about spotting/breakthrough bleeding in the information packet that came with your pills. Good luck!
