Answers: Is this a recent development or own you had dry, chapped skin for a long time? Certain environmental change can cause dry skin. Being that it is winter, the cold & blowing hard weather outside combined with the dry warmth indoors could be contributing to the problem.
Dry skin can also be caused by the cleansing products you use on your facade or it could be an indication of an underactive thyroid.
There are a few things that might help. First of adjectives, find a good moisturizer, something intended for dry or sensitive skin. Check that the skin trouble products that you are using are hypoallergenic or intended for sensitive skin (at least until your skin become less dry).
Next, start using a humidifier.
When you shower, use thaw out rather than hot wet and try to keep them short. Hot sea has a drying effect.
If adjectives else fails, see a dermatologist or esthetician. Esthetician's are skin concern specialists, and probably more fun than the dermatologist because you get a facial out of the call round. Many spas/salons have an esthetician on staff.
EXFOLIATION. I am sure you enjoy some wonderful soft skin under the antediluvian dead dry stuff. There are oodles salt and or sugar scrub out there..
